Tax Simplification (September 2023) - response from FST

On 15 September 2023 the ATT, along with other professional bodies, jointly wrote to the (then) Financial Secretary to the Treasury (FST), Victoria Atkins MP, about tax simplification. We recently received her response, and this can be found here.

We will be encouraging the new FST, Nigel Huddleston MP, to provide a full response to the points raised in our letter, and we will continue to work with HMRC and HM Treasury deliver against their mandate to embed tax simplification into the policy-making process.
