HMRC video series on compliance checks

HMRC have asked us to share their following message concerning the publication of four very short YouTube videos:

“New video series helping customers to better understand compliance checks

We have produced a series of videos to help customers better understand the compliance checks process. The videos explain what customers can expect from us.

The following videos are available:

  • What to expect from a compliance check
  • Purpose of the compliance check and how it works
  • Penalties - why we charge them and what you can do about them
  • How to appeal against a HMRC decision

These videos have been developed with input from stakeholders who represent our customers.
