HMRC Performance - new dashboard goes live
Further to our recent posts about HMRC performance issues, we are pleased to report that the HMRC dashboard is now available for agents to check current processing times and service levels for post and online requests. The dashboard has been in a beta trial since January and is now available to all on GOV.UK. HMRC has also updated their ‘Where’s my reply service’.
While the dashboard does not solve the problems with processing delays that we know members are experiencing, we hope that the information will at least allow agents to see where the problems are and put them in a better position to advise clients as to likely processing times.
We will continue to press HMRC for service improvements and would welcome any comments or feedback that members may have about the dashboard to [email protected]. In addition, specific examples of problems and/or reports of delays getting through to the Agent Dedicated Line (ADL) or other HMRC phone lines are very helpful as evidence of problems which we can share with HMRC in upcoming meetings.
